We are delighted to have Jèssica Pujol Duran and RTA Parker in the Haus!
Jèssica is a lecturer at the University of Santiago de Chile. She was Poet in Residence at the University of Surrey in 2013/2014 and edits Alba Londres, a magazine on translation focused on British, Spanish, and Latin American literature. She has three chapbooks in English, Now Worry (Department, 2012), Every Bit of Light (Oystercatcher Press, 2012) and Mare (Carnaval Press, 2019); one book in Spanish/English, Enter Exit Is So Difficult, with translations by William Rowe (Veer Books, 2016), and one in Spanish El campo envolvente (LP5 Editora, 2020); and two books in Catalan, El país pintat (El pont del petroli, 2015), and ninó, (El pont del petroli, 2019). She has recently co-edited and co-translated an anthology of Latin American poetry written by women Temporary Archives (Arc Publications, 2022).
RTA Parker is a poet, printer and lecturer based in Santiago de Chile. He has published Space Odes (Boiler House Press, 2021) and R.T.A. Parker’s 99 Sonnets about Evil (Canary Woof, 2015). His poem, ‘All The Bleak Chippies’, won the Ledbury Poetry Prize in 2018. He edits The Crater Press, an independent poetry press based between London and Santiago de Chile that publishes distinctive pamphlets of innovative British poetry.
